From DC to Local Impact: GFA Supports Civic Match

Govern For America (GFA) is thrilled to partner on Civic Match, a new program that helps talented public servants transition from DC to impactful positions in state and local governments nationwide.

Civic Match is a nonpartisan talent-matching program connecting experienced federal workers and campaign staff with critical government roles in over 20 cities and states. The initiative is designed to address immediate staffing needs and foster a broader pipeline, positioning state and local government as a destination for top talent.

We at GFA believe that public servants in state and local governments are responsible for driving us forward. The policies they enact impact our communities every day, influencing everything from drinking water quality and road safety to affordable internet access. While federal policy sets a national direction, it is state and local governments that chart the actual paths our communities take.
